Pete this is quite relevant - the new US defense strategy is out today. It is consistent with Trump’s rhetoric.
Countering China is no longer the primary goal.
I can find no mention in it of Australia or AUKUS.
So why are we spending most of our budget on small numbers of costly platforms interchangeable with the USN and USAF?
