In this short Youtube India’s first generation INS Arihant SSBN is compared to the US sixth generation Ohio-class SSBNs.
I publish on subs, other military/naval, nuclear weapons & political issues. Aussie sub changes are slow: talk since 2009 rather than new subs. The Collins LOTE 2028-2040 might help Australia's sub availability temporarily. UUVs help. POTUS 2031 may cancel AUKUS Virginias due to USN advice it needs all its SSNs through to the 2040s. Few people recognize the US has sacrificed Virginia production pace in favour of Columbia SSBN production. Shawn C is an excellent contributor.

Hi Pete,
It seems that time has left its mark on the Polish submarines ORP "Orzeł" - not modernization but repair
"The very choice of JT Ship Service Tomasz Jatkowski from Gdynia to repair the MGK-400 complex is not surprising. It was with this company that two contracts were concluded in December 2019 regarding the submarine ORP "Orzeł" for about PLN 624 thousand gross, under which six sets of power cables were to be supplied (for PLN 72,000 gross) and repair of PZKG-11 periscopes (for PLN 552,000 gross)."
"Experience shows that JT Ship Service Tomasz Jatkowski will definitely do its job and restore the main sonar system of the ship to working order. However, it will still be a hydroacoustic complex from the eighties, without a modern sound analysis system and connection to a new, automated combat system."
In the meen time in Sweden A19 Submarine HSwMS Gotland Back In Swedish Navy Service Following Upgrade
