Due to fires in Australia SubMatts will be quiet for time being.

I may relocate to Canberra.

I don't know.

That's a dumb idea. I think Antarctica is a better choice. NO SMOKE. I got to visit resus at RPAH 23rd December despite I'm healthy, smoke caused heart sac inflammation. I had exerted myself for 10 hours over the two previous days in hazardous smoke. Plus many hours over the preceding months.

Hey Pete
What's your take on this. Looks like Argentina is interested in buying the Ula class SSK from Norway

Hi Pete,

Hope you are safe from the fires, maybe Australia should put in their own Li-S batteries in their new submarines, Supercharging tomorrow: Australia first to test new lithium batteries

"* Monash University researchers have developed the world’s most efficient lithium-sulphur battery, capable of powering a smartphone for five continuous days.

* Prototype cells have been developed in Germany. Further testing in cars and solar grids to take place in Australia in 2020.

* Researchers have a filed patent on the manufacturing process, and will capture a large share of Australia’s lithium chain."

Thanks everyone for your support.

As the fires threatening my area of Australia have slowed down (though are still burning) I aim to write 2 or 3 articles this week.
