Talking together, sharing, helping each other is the way to go if we want to avoid extinction.

We need to create a new time-warp, one based on equality and mutual respect. I think Vietnam has shown great self-control in building a mixed economy and in its willingness to trade with former foes.

The economics-security mix is certainly central in Vietnam's balancing act regarding the South China Sea tensions. Vietnam doesn't want to antagonise such regional powers as China and Japan in the competition for resources in that Sea.

Cheers

PetePetehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02624742078679760819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19245896.post-41801789181230366662013-10-14T14:11:10.632+11:002013-10-14T14:11:10.632+11:00Good article. Such well known ports in the war as Cam Ranh Bay and Da Nang are becoming prosperous investment zones.

Regards

PetePetehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02624742078679760819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19245896.post-25872139962485140732013-10-13T07:43:06.563+11:002013-10-13T07:43:06.563+11:00A scholarly article, Pete.
