On 3 Type 039B Yuans being built December 2016 at Wuchang shipyard. See IHS Jane’s, 5 January 2017 http://www.janes.com/article/66691/china-resumes-production-of-yuan-class-submarines
All of these Sources are useful to visit and revisit to build a more accurate Table(s).
Once the Yuans are more settled I'll fill out Tables on China's Mings, Songs, Kilos, the odd Qing, SSNs then SSBNs.

Hi Pete,
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think China will do with the old Mings and Kilo class SSK's once the Yuan's come online.
Hi Nicky
ReplyDeleteWith the Mings scrapped OR sold/donated to third countries.
The Kilos Russian origin would likely prevent China selling/donating them to a third country. More likely the Kilos, over their 20 year service lives still remaining, will be upgraded, serve and then be scrapped in the 2030s.
Pete
Nicely put. Cheers.

Hello would you mind letting me know which hosting company you're using?
ReplyDeleteI've loaded your blog in 3 completely different browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot faster then most.
Can you suggest a good internet hosting provider at a fair price?
Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!
Hi Anonymous [at 9/11/17 1:48 AM]
ReplyDelete"which hosting company you're using?" blogger.com
"good internet hosting provider at a fair price?" If you start a blog using blogger (I've used it for 11+ years) its free as far as I can see.

More on Blogger from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blogger_(service)
ReplyDelete"Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It was developed by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at a subdomain of blogspot.com. Blogs can also be hosted in the registered custom domain of the blogger (like www.example.com).[4] A user can have up to 100 blogs per account.[5]
Up until May 1, 2010, Blogger allowed users to publish blogs on other hosts, via FTP. All such blogs had (or still have) to be moved to Google's own servers, with domains other than blogspot.com allowed via custom URLs.[6] Unlike WordPress.com, Blogger allows its users to use their own domain free of charge, while WordPress.com charges around $13 to use a custom domain.[7] Blogger cannot be installed on a web server. One has to use DNS facilities to redirect a custom URL to a blogspot domain.[8]"
Today, I wesnt to the beach front withh my children. I foundd a sea shell and gave it
ReplyDeleteto my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She puut the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside annd it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
