JSF's Endless Blues - Too Big to Cancel
-
Lockheed shrewdly packaging the JSF (F-35) as 3 different versions, for 3 different US services and for pre-bought foreign customers (eg. Australia) makes this project too financially, diplomatically and politically "big" to cancel.
The JSF plays the US defence acquisition system in a way that defeats any prudence, opposition or logic. Well done Lockheed and the Admirals, "Bird" Generals, US politicians and Pentagon officials eventually employed by Lockheed.
